Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres tied the knot in August 2008.  Ellen DeGeneres is 51 and Portia de Rossi is 36.  The couples union is legal, because Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage in California, was passed after the ceremony in November of 2008.  Ellen tells Oprah that she is very happy, and has found her true love for life.  Ellen is also staring as a judge in the hit show American Idol.  I loved her in Ally McBeal…what a great gift – the complete series on dvd!
